My favorite part about playing online poker is the people.  Millions of people from all over the world are involved with internet gambling, so every time you log on for some online poker, there are thousands of other people already there playing.  After all, poker is the most popular casino game online.

Of course, it helps that online casinos offer players some really great chat programs.  When I’m playing online, chatting is so easy it’s like I’m sitting with the person.  There aren’t slow connections or dropped messages.  You can even do group chats and some online casinos offer video chats now.  It’s a great way to meet interesting people from all over the world and not only trade stories, but also poker tips.

Of course, the money with online poker is good too.  The payouts work just like they would anywhere else but, with online poker, you also get a chance at a lot of different free money bonuses.  Online casinos give them to players as a way to attract new players and keep old ones.  You win bonuses just play playing, trying new games, playing certain hands and being a loyal player.  Since they average around $100, they can really add up if you start winning.

Online poker has definitely become a favorite way for me to pass the time and enjoy playing poker while also becoming a better player.  I love that I can play from home and I’ve made some good friends along with some nice profit.
